Gwangju Nam-gu Item Sharing Center Renovated with Camping Equipment and More
The Mulpoom Sharing Center in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has completed the renewal of its stocked items in preparation for the vacation season and has begun full-scale rental services.
According to the Nam-gu Mulpoom Sharing Center on the 26th, the center recently purchased an additional 39 items across 21 categories, including camping gear, household tools, and daily necessities, through the renewal.
The newly stocked items reflect the active incorporation of feedback from residents who use the center. Last year, Nam-gu conducted a preference survey among users of the Mulpoom Sharing Center regarding items to be additionally purchased.
The survey results showed that 54.7% of the center’s users ranked camping gear as the top priority for additional stocking. Additionally, 18.9% and 15.1% of users wished for the purchase of daily necessities and household tools, respectively.
The newly stocked items at the Nam-gu Mulpoom Sharing Center include 13 camping gear items, 4 daily necessities, and 4 household tool items.
Camping gear includes chairs, mats, lantern stands, tables, hammocks, a 10-piece cooking utensil set, vehicle lanterns, tent stakes, UV insect traps, single-person field beds, tents, and windbreakers?key items needed for outdoor activities.
For daily necessities, basket-type and standard hand carts, dehumidifiers, and large vacuum cleaners have been stocked. In the household tools category, rechargeable electric drills, drill chargers, drill batteries, and drill bit sets have been provided.
Currently, the Nam-gu Mulpoom Sharing Center offers rental services at affordable prices within 2% of the item value for 193 items across 84 categories, including tents, beam projectors, Bluetooth speakers, outdoor lighting, and various tools to residents in the district.
From January last year to June this year, the total number of rentals reached 1,608.

A Nam-gu official said, "Many residents visit the Mulpoom Sharing Center to enjoy an economical vacation during the holiday season," adding, "We will do our best to operate the center to increase user satisfaction."
