Yoon Appoints Former Foreign Ministry 2nd Vice Minister Lee Do-hoon as Ambassador to Russia
President Yoon Suk-yeol appointed Lee Do-hoon, former Second Vice Foreign Minister, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation on the 26th.
Ambassador Lee was born in 1962 in Busan. After majoring in Economics at Yonsei University, he entered public service in 1985 by passing the 19th Foreign Service Examination. He has held various positions including UN Director, International Organization Cooperation Officer, Presidential Office Diplomatic Secretary, and Head of the Korea Peace Negotiation Headquarters.
