Gyeonggawon to Open and Operate Joint Pavilion at August 'Shanghai International Textile Expo'
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will participate as a joint pavilion of GTC (Gyeonggi Textile Marketing Center) at the '2023 China Shanghai Autumn Intertextile International Textile Fair' held at NECC in Shanghai, China, from the 28th to the 30th of next month.
The Shanghai Intertextile is a global exhibition where the latest trends in textiles and apparel are shared, and sales and distribution take place. It is the largest existing exhibition for apparel fabrics and accessories.
About 3,000 companies from around the world, including Europe and Asia, will participate in this exhibition.
GTC will focus on exhibiting high-quality various patterned fabrics targeting Shanghai local buyers and overseas buyers, including original design products, recycled, and natural fabrics.
Kang Seong-cheon, Director of the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, "We have operated the joint pavilion at the exhibition to actively support the overseas market entry of textile companies in the province," and expressed expectations, saying, "It will be a great opportunity to widely promote Korea's textile technology and products, boasting world-class fabrics and designs."

GTC also participated in the Shanghai Spring Intertextile held last March, exhibiting 1,800 samples from local textile companies and achieving consultation results worth $5,412,000.
