Yeongjin College Lifelong Education Center (Director Park Jae-hong) is undertaking legal and administrative support activities to help multicultural members, including foreign students, adapt to and settle in society.
To this end, the Lifelong Education Center recently appointed Attorney Sung Myung-ho and Administrative Officer Lee Chun-yong as 'Multicultural Specialized Counseling Advisory Committee Members.'

The Ministry of Justice Social Integration Program provides basic education necessary for life in Korea, including Korean language, Korean culture, and 'Understanding Korean Society,' to Korean residents and immigrants, and evaluates this education to reflect on visa extensions, stay extensions, permanent residency issuance, and naturalization reviews.
The education center goes beyond this by actively engaging in administrative and legal support activities for social adaptation and stable social settlement of foreign students within the university, KIIP Daegu 2 hub learners, and multicultural members in the local community.
As the number of KIIP participants and foreign students increases, the demand for specialized counseling on administrative and legal matters has expanded. In response, the education center appointed 'Multicultural Specialized Counseling Advisory Committee Members' to provide tailored services.
The appointed advisory committee members will offer counseling services related to administrative procedures such as visa extensions and stay extensions, as well as legal issues arising during domestic settlement, including divorce and violence, at Yeongjin College Lifelong Education Center on weekends at the end of each month.
Attorney Sung Myung-ho, appointed as an advisory committee member, stated, "I will do my best to provide generous support and advice on legal assistance and protection so that multicultural members can understand and adapt well to our society."
