Regarding the significantly expanded Official Development Assistance (ODA) investment, the government intends to focus more on execution management through consultations among related ministries and agencies. Efforts will also be made to improve soldiers' living and medical conditions. This includes promoting the supply and renovation of officers' quarters and securing skilled medical personnel. To ensure that military service experience is properly recognized in employment and other areas, the issuance of military job competency certificates will be implemented.
Starting in the second half of this year, the number of foreign skilled workers will be increased by an additional 30,000. Furthermore, a cooperative system among related ministries will be established to expand the overseas dissemination of the Korean language. In particular, to expand the overseas promotion of Korean, cooperation with education offices will be strengthened to increase the dispatch of related personnel such as Korean language specialists, while also enhancing textbooks and educational programs.
