Hyundai Motor Company announced that it successfully concluded the award ceremony for the "Time with Pony" photo contest held on the 22nd to look back on the journey of Korea's first domestic car, the Pony, together with customers.

View original imageThis contest was held to commemorate the "Time of Pony" exhibition, which showcases the history and actual vehicle of the Pony, the beginning of Hyundai's heritage, and to revisit memories with the Pony, which was born through a nationwide car name contest.
Hyundai Motor received over 3,600 submissions and story applications from the 1st of last month until the 9th of this month, and at the final awards ceremony held on the 22nd, Symphony was awarded the grand prize.
The name Symphony was given by her father, who liked the Pony car. Ms. Sim received the highest score for her story and photos of living with the Pony throughout her life.

View original imageThe awardees include △ Grand Prize (1 person) △ Excellence Award (2 persons) △ Encouragement Award (4 persons), totaling 7 people. The grand prize winner, Ms. Sim, was presented with an Ioniq 5. The Excellence Award winners received a 2-night, 3-day stay voucher at Jeju Haevichi Hotel, and the Encouragement Award winners were given Pony goods sets.
Some of the photos submitted to the contest will be displayed at the "Time of Pony" exhibition held at Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The "Time of Pony," first held on the 9th of last month, will run until October 8th.

A Hyundai Motor official said, "The Pony is more than just a car to the Korean people; it is a medium representing memories of the old days," adding, "We hope that through this exhibition and contest, many people will once again feel the nostalgia of the Pony and have an opportunity to reflect on heritage and 'unchanging values.'"
