Dongduk Women's University announced on the 24th that it held the '1st Dongduk Faculty and Staff Social Service Award' ceremony on the 20th, presided over by President Kim Myung-ae of Dongduk Women's University.
This award was newly established to commend faculty and staff dedicated to social service activities, and Professor Lee Jae-hyun of the Arete College of Liberal Arts was selected as the first recipient. Professor Lee has been involved in volunteer work for over 10 years through the 'Deulnamu Volunteer Group,' providing labor and material support to vulnerable groups, founding the Nanum 2900 community and donating fundraising proceeds, volunteering as a writing instructor at a correctional facility, and serving as the leader of a youth overseas volunteer group.

A representative of Dongduk Women's University stated, "We will present Professor Lee with a certificate and a monetary prize, and publish digital materials featuring the details of the activities and interviews with current students to share both inside and outside the university," adding, "The Dongduk Women's University Social Service Center will continue to support and highlight the volunteer activities of Dongduk members."
