Ulsan Office of Education, Customized Industrial Accident Prevention Training by Job Type
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct job-specific customized safety and health training for all on-site workers affiliated with public schools (institutions).
The second quarter safety and health training will be held eight times from the 24th to August 11 at venues such as the small auditorium in the Ulsan National University Student Union Building. The target audience is 2,572 on-site workers affiliated with all public schools (institutions).
This training, conducted as regular safety and health education for workers under the Industrial Safety and Health Act, will cover job-specific courses focused on accident cases, including understanding and applying the Industrial Safety and Health Act on-site, work safety and accident prevention, and prevention and management of occupational diseases.
The Ulsan Office of Education will collaborate with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to provide on-site safety and health virtual reality (VR) experience training and will also share samples of slip-resistant toe-cap boots suitable for school environments.

An official from the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education stated, “We will ensure that the training is practically helpful in preventing industrial accidents at educational sites by organizing job-specific customized training courses.”
