Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends the 2023 Nowon Education Welfare Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony
Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the 2023 Nowon Education Welfare Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony held at the Nowon District Office auditorium at 4 p.m. on the 19th.
The Nowon Education Welfare Foundation selects local talented scholarship students every year and carries out scholarship projects through matching with sponsors.
This year, 200 high school students, 10 out-of-school youth, 10 students with special talents in arts and sports, and 10 university students were selected.
The ceremony was attended by about 250 people, including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, National Assembly members Woo Won-shik and Ko Yong-jin, city and district council members, scholarship students, and sponsors (organizations). The event proceeded in the order of career special lecture, opening, introduction and greetings of guests, progress report, greetings, encouragement speech, scholarship certificate presentation, and commemorative photo session.
