According to the promotional video, to drink coffee at this cafe, visitors must wear professional equipment under the guidance of a forestry expert. They must also travel through a primeval forest for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, climb a mountain about 70 stories high (approximately 200 meters), and then move about 20 meters along a sheer rock cliff before arriving at the Cliff Cafe to enjoy their coffee.
Photos posted on SNS show customers who have arrived at the Cliff Cafe sitting on planks precariously hanging from the cliff while drinking coffee. All of them are wearing safety gear such as helmets and ropes.
According to the media, the cafe originally opened in 2019 but temporarily closed and reopened last month. The cafe stated that the 398 yuan coffee price includes equipment rental fees and guide costs. Also, to prepare for any accidents, only customers weighing less than 100 kg are allowed entry, and each person can sit on the cliff and drink coffee for a maximum of one hour.
