KT&G Donates 500 Million KRW to Areas Affected by Heavy Rainfall
KGC Insamgongsa Donates KGC CheongKwanJang Red Ginseng Products Worth 100 Million KRW
KT&G announced on the 18th that it will urgently provide 500 million KRW in donations for the rapid recovery of areas affected by heavy rain and for nationwide disaster relief efforts.
KT&G delivered the donation to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, and the funds will be used for facility restoration in the affected areas, living expenses for disaster victims, and support for relief supplies.
This donation was raised from the ‘Sangsang Fund,’ a donation fund voluntarily contributed by KT&G employees. The Sangsang Fund is a unique social contribution fund operated by KT&G, where employees contribute a portion of their monthly salary and the company matches the same amount.
Additionally, KGC Ginseng Corporation plans to deliver CheongKwanJang red ginseng products worth 100 million KRW to residents in the areas affected by the heavy rain.
