Gu In-mo, the mayor of Geochang County, Gyeongnam, conducted an urgent inspection of safety management status and measures at vulnerable disaster sites, including the landslide site on Local Road 1089 and construction sites, in preparation for heavy rains during the monsoon season.
During the on-site inspection conducted on the 17th, safety measures for the landslide on Local Road 1089 caused by heavy rain were confirmed, along with the safety management status and emergency response plans at construction projects promoted by the county, such as the Handul District pumping station and water pipeline installation project, and the Geochang County multipurpose gymnasium construction project.
