Report of 'Collapse Signs' at a Multi-family House in Mokpo... All Residents Evacuated
A report was received in Mokpo, Jeonnam, that a five-story building seemed about to collapse, causing all residents to evacuate urgently.
According to Jeonnam Fire Department and police on the 14th, at around 4:14 PM that day, a report was received that cracks appeared on the exterior wall of a multi-family residential building in Honam-dong, Mokpo City, and the doors could not be opened, suggesting the building might collapse.
Upon arrival at the scene, the fire authorities forcibly opened the closed doors and searched inside for any people. Judging that there was a risk of building collapse, they urgently evacuated 17 people.
The building in question is a mixed-use multi-family residence housing a mart, billiard hall, offices, and residences.
