Huron Obtains 5 International Certifications Including ISO 27001 and ISO 27799
ISO 27001, ISO 27799 2 Consecutive Years
Additional Certifications Acquired Including US HIPAA
Huron, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) specialized company, announced on the 14th that it has obtained five international information security certifications, including the Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) and Medical Personal Information Protection System (ISO 27799) established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 27001 is an international standard information security certification designated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is the most authoritative certification standard in the field of information protection. To obtain the certification, a company must undergo a rigorous review of its information protection management system. After acquisition, annual follow-up audits are required to maintain the certification.
Huron initially acquired ISO 27001 and ISO 27799 certifications in July of last year. In June of this year, it passed the follow-up audit, recognizing the stability and excellence of its overall information protection management system operations. Additionally, it verified compliance with the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and further obtained the CSA STAR, a cloud security certification established by the U.S. Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). It has acquired five international certifications in total.
