Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) completed the parent observation program conducted for children's meal facilities supported by the Children's Meal Management Support Center last month.

This parent observation program was designed to increase trust in the operation and management of meals and dietary education at children's facilities by allowing parents to directly observe the hygiene and nutrition management of the food their children usually eat.

The observation program, which involved a total of 14 children's facilities and 81 parents, was held over approximately two months from May 8 to June 23.

Along with facility visits, education on forming healthy habits such as proper handwashing for children was also conducted.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, "We will continue to provide wholehearted support to create a safe childcare environment that parents can trust, so that children can eat healthily and grow strong."

The Jungnang-gu Children's Meal Management Support Center has been supporting hygiene and nutrition management for facilities with fewer than 100 children in the area that do not have nutritionists since 2019. Currently, it provides hygiene, safety, nutrition management, and tailored education to a total of 221 facilities.
