T Map Mobility Announces 'Protected Zones for Transportation Vulnerable' Guidance
T map Mobility announced on the 13th that it has added a new feature to guide protected zones for vulnerable road users through its latest update.
The "Protected Zones for Vulnerable Road Users" guidance service expands on T map's existing child protection zone alerts by including zones for the elderly, disabled, and local residents. When driving, the system notifies users of these zones through signs and voice alerts.
After setting the departure and destination points in T map, users can select the "Child Protection" option on the route summary screen to receive guidance on routes that bypass protected zones for vulnerable road users.
In addition to the "Protected Zones for Vulnerable Road Users" feature, this update also enhances convenience for freight drivers by adding height restrictions for overpasses and bridges, road width limits, and weight limit signs with voice alerts.
