[Weather] Cloudy Nationwide on Saturday, Heavy Rain in the Southern Regions
On Saturday the 8th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with heavy rain mainly in the southern regions.
Expected rainfall amounts are 30 to 80 mm in Chungbuk, the southern coast of Jeonnam, Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island (with more than 100 mm in coastal areas of Gyeongnam and Jeju Island), and 5 to 40 mm in the Jeolla region excluding the southern coast of Jeonnam and the Chungnam region.
From afternoon to night, there may be showers accompanied by gusts, thunder, and lightning in the southern inland areas of Gyeonggi, central and southern Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, eastern Jeonbuk, and inland Gyeongbuk. Expected rainfall amounts are all 5 to 20 mm.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 19 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius. In most parts of the country, daytime temperatures will rise above 31 degrees Celsius.
In the southern East Sea, the South Sea, and the seas around Jeju Island, there will be gusts accompanied by thunder and lightning, and until dawn, strong winds of 8 to 13 m/s are expected in the western offshore areas of the southwestern South Sea and the East Sea.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the near seas of the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the near seas of the West Sea. In the outer seas (offshore areas about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
