The message board features the phrase, “Don’t worry, even in the midsummer heat, I will be your cool shade,” expressing the feelings of mothers and fathers looking at their children, the stories that loving families want to tell each other, and the messages the bank wants to convey to its customers.
The words on the empathy message board are expressed in calligraphy that breathes life into each letter.
President Ye said, “By posting the second empathy message board, BNK Gyeongnam Bank hopes to deliver a message of hope that it will be a shade for local residents and the community even in the midsummer heat. We plan to present empathy message boards seasonally in the future and will continue to strive to be a ‘warm bank filled with fragrance’ always by the side of local residents.”
Meanwhile, from April to the end of June, BNK Gyeongnam Bank posted the first empathy message board featuring a part of the poem “A New Road” by poet Yun Dong-ju: “Crossing the stream, into the forest, over the hill, into the village, my path is always a new road.”
