The Cool Korea Challenge is a relay campaign jointly conducted by the Korea Energy Agency and Fashion Group Hyungji, aimed at saving cooling energy by wearing cool and simple clothing during the summer. It carries the practical purpose of reducing the perceived temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in summer through cooling clothing to save energy, as well as the meaning of participating in a public interest movement that actively responds to environmental protection and global warming.
This campaign proceeds by leaders from various fields first taking photos in simple attire, promoting it on social media, and then nominating the next participant.
