SSG.com Provides Heat Illness Prevention Kits to Logistics Center Workers

SSG.com announced on the 4th that it will provide heat illness prevention kits to logistics center workers and delivery drivers.

The heat illness prevention kit consists of ▲cool packs that can be used to lower body temperature when suspected symptoms such as heatstroke occur ▲ice towels made of functional cooling materials ▲saline glucose for electrolyte replenishment ▲a fan printed with summer health care tips and emergency response methods for heat illness ▲and a thermal bag that can store health care products and beverages.
They will also launch the "Quick Check Vascular Traffic Light" campaign. Based on the brain and cardiovascular disease health consultation improvement evaluation (C-CDCI) and basic test results such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, exercise and nutrition will be continuously managed for three months. Participants were pre-recruited at three Neo Centers.

An SSG.com official said, "With the judgment that the health of workers is the top priority, we will proactively carry out preventive activities against summer diseases this year as well," adding, "We plan to continue safety management activities reflecting the voices from the field."
