Ulsan City Launches Comprehensive Inspection of Construction Machinery Businesses in the First Half of the Year
During July, 222 Construction Machinery Sites Targeted
Establishing Sound Market Order and Preventing Various Safety Accidents
Ulsan City began a comprehensive inspection of the construction machinery business for the first half of this year starting from the 1st, which will continue for one month until the end of this month.
The inspection aims to prevent rental fee arrears, stabilize the construction machinery market, verify false manufacturing years and illegal modifications of construction machinery, and is conducted to establish a sound market order for construction machinery operators (rental, maintenance, sales, dismantling and recycling).
The inspection is carried out jointly with district and county offices, with the cooperation of construction machinery operator organizations and inspection agents, targeting 222 construction machinery business sites within the jurisdiction.
The main inspection items include ▲ verification of yard facilities held by rental operators ▲ confirmation of maintenance technicians secured by maintenance operators and whether maintenance facilities meet standards ▲ inspection of ownership and usage rights certificates of sales operators’ offices and verification of warranty deposit certificates ▲ confirmation of disposal equipment secured by dismantling and recycling operators, suitability of waste incineration facilities, waste oil and wastewater treatment facilities, and matters related to tower cranes.
Ulsan City plans to respond strongly to eradicate illegal activities by taking administrative actions such as administrative guidance, registration cancellation, and fines, as well as criminal charges in accordance with the Construction Machinery Management Act if any violations are detected during the inspection.
An official from Ulsan City stated, “Through this comprehensive inspection, we will do our best to establish a sound market order for the construction machinery business and prevent safety accidents at business sites.”
