On the afternoon of the 30th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited Samdong Boys Town, a childcare facility for boys located in Sangam-dong.
On this day, at Samdong Boys Town, Mayor Park Gang-su, children, and about 50 volunteers gathered together for a Heart Connection Garden-making event.
The event involved learning about the language and benefits of plants and planting them in the Heart Connection Garden using plastic cups and recycled pots. It was organized to convey the sense of stability and resilience that plants provide to the children.
