Busan Museum, June Culture Day Performance ... 'Museum Where Music Stays' Held
June 30th, 5 PM at Busan Museum Auditorium, 'June Culture Day Performance' Held
Busan Museum will hold the June Culture Day performance, "Music Dwelling in the Museum," at 5 p.m. on the 30th in the main auditorium of Busan Museum.
This performance is presented by the Busan Metropolitan Art Troupe's "Visiting Art Troupe." The Busan Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, part of the Busan Metropolitan Art Troupe, was founded in 1962 and is the third oldest orchestra in South Korea, representing the pride of Busan, the country's second largest city and its foremost port city.
Through various planned concerts such as regular performances for classical music lovers and educational programs for children and youth, the orchestra strives to culturally enrich the lives of not only Busan citizens but also visitors to Busan.
The performance consists of a string quartet playing ▲Pizzicato Polka ▲Summer Movements 2 and 3 from The Four Seasons ▲Scent of a Woman ▲Hungarian Dance ▲Dream of the Octopus, and anyone can attend free of charge without prior registration by registering on-site. Admission to the venue will be available from 4:30 p.m. on the day of the performance.

Jung Eun-woo, director of Busan Museum, said, "We hope this performance, which conveys the atmosphere of summer days, will provide citizens with a precious opportunity to enjoy classical music at the museum, and we ask for the enthusiastic interest and participation of all citizens."
