The Davos Forum is an annual event held twice a year where figures from around the world gather to discuss global challenges. Following the general meeting held earlier this year in Davos, Switzerland, this summer's Davos Forum was held under the theme "The Driving Force of the Global Economy, Entrepreneurship," with about 1,500 global leaders from approximately 100 countries attending.
CEO Seobum Seok gave a presentation titled "Can we intercept cancer?" during a breakout session covering six sub-themes of the forum, including the resumption of economic growth and post-COVID-19 consumption trends. In his presentation, he explained methods of detecting and treating cancer, ranging from precision oncology to liquid and synthetic biopsies. He also emphasized the vision and strategy for fostering the AI ecosystem and revitalizing the medical AI industry, which are key challenges in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
