O Tae-wan Uiryeong-gun Governor Appeal Trial First Hearing in August
O Tae-wan, the governor of Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, is heading to the Masan branch courtroom of Changwon District Court to attend the first trial related to a violation of the Public Official Election Act held on June 16.

The first appeal trial regarding the charge of sexual assault against Oh Taewan, the mayor of Uiryeong County, originally scheduled to be held at Changwon District Court in Gyeongnam on the 27th, has been postponed to 4 PM on August 8.

Mayor Oh was indicted on charges of sexually assaulting a female reporter at a press conference held at a restaurant in Uiryeong County in 2021. He was sentenced to six months in prison with a two-year probation in the first trial on February 10 but has appealed the decision.
