Support from A to Z... From Brand Naming to Building Online Sales Pages and Product Photography
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu: "We Will Revitalize Neighborhood Commercial Districts and Build Local Brands That Drive the Regional Economy"
Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) is recruiting companies to participate in the ‘Sosanghan Online Store’ program, which supports small business owners’ entry into the online market in response to changes in consumer and distribution markets.
The district has stepped up to assist small business owners who have differentiated products but face difficulties entering the online market. Through the ‘Sosanghan Online Store’ project, the district provides tailored, close support for small business owners?from product planning, brand naming, photography, to customer management?so that the online market can become a new distribution channel and opportunity.
As online sales have become the mainstream due to digital transformation and changes in consumer trends, the district expects that helping small business owners enter the online market will strengthen their competitiveness and open up new sales channels.
Furthermore, the district plans not only to ensure successful online settlement but also to grow small business owners into local brands representing the region by linking with industry, culture, and content.
Small business owners in the region with fewer than five regular employees (fewer than 10 for manufacturing, mining, and construction industries) can apply for one of two fields: digital marketing or crowdfunding support for developing online sales channels.
Small business owners wishing to receive support can download the application form from the district’s website and submit it via email by July 14.
The district will select eight companies for digital marketing and two companies for crowdfunding through document evaluation based on criteria such as business and sales capabilities and business implementation plans.
The final selected companies will receive systematic support ranging from laying the foundation for entering the online market to infrastructure support for ordering and delivery, as well as secrets to increasing sales.
First, for small business owners with no online experience, consulting will be provided on know-how to enhance market competitiveness, analysis of MZ generation consumer tendencies, sales expansion through SNS, and order and delivery systems. This will not be a one-time event but will include practice and feedback to build capabilities.
Within the scope of support, assistance will also be provided for brand and design development for online sales, product photography that attracts consumer attention, building online order pages, and banner design production.
Additionally, close education will be provided on handling customer complaints and out-of-stock situations.
