The grading system, introduced in 2015, requires fishing experience and recreation villages to be evaluated in at least one category, including the experience category. This year, 33 villages are subject to grading. The common category of 'Environment and Service' as well as the experience, accommodation, and food categories are assessed according to evaluation criteria, and grades from 1 to 3 are assigned for each category. The assigned grades are valid for three years. In particular, this year, a 'mid-term inspection' will also be conducted concurrently to evaluate whether the service level corresponding to the assigned grade is maintained for 26 villages in their second year after receiving a grade.
