Ulsan Ulju-gun Receives 19.6 Million Won in Hometown Love Donations
In Ulju-gun, Ulsan, a continuous stream of donors supporting the development of their hometown is taking place through hometown love donations.
On the 26th, Ulju-gun held a hometown love donation ceremony at the Ihwa Hall of the county office, attended by Lee Soon-geol, the mayor of Ulju-gun, 15 hometown love donors, and related officials. On this day, the 15 donors delivered a total of 19.6 million won in donations to Ulju-gun.
After the ceremony, the attendees discussed the development direction of the hometown love donation system and held events for promotion.
The donors said, “We are pleased to contribute to the development of Ulju-gun, and further Ulsan, through hometown love donations,” and added, “We hope the hometown love donation system will become more active in the future, leading to participation by many people and serving as an opportunity for Ulsan’s further development.”

Lee Soon-geol, mayor of Ulju-gun, said, “We warmly thank the donors who generously contributed donations for the development of Ulju-gun out of love for their hometown,” and added, “The donations will be used carefully in places that residents agree upon for the development of Ulju-gun.”
