Mapo-gu Residents Sports Center Proud National Sport Taekwondo Competition Held
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, attended the Mapo-gu Mayor's Cup Taekwondo Competition held at the Mapo-gu Residents Sports Center on the morning of the 24th.
The competition, co-hosted by the district, Mapo-gu Sports Council (President Lee Won-beom), and Mapo-gu Taekwondo Association (President Han Gwang-uk), was organized to promote harmony among local Taekwondo enthusiasts and will continue until 6 p.m.
On the day, a total of about 400 participants from 37 teams competed, starting with team events, followed by the opening declaration, commendation of meritorious persons, and athlete oath in sequence.
