Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon Airport Corporation, Attends International Airport Council General Assembly
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 23rd that from the 25th to the 28th, at the 33rd Annual General Assembly of the International Airport Council (ACI) held in Barcelona, Spain, President Lee Hak-jae will announce his inauguration as the new airport director and discuss strategic cooperation plans with leaders of the airport industry.
ACI is an international organization of the airport industry with 1,950 airports from 185 countries as members.
Incheon Airport ranked first for 12 consecutive years from 2005 to 2016 in service evaluations conducted by ACI. Last year, it established international standards for service by being the only airport worldwide to achieve the highest level 5 of the 'Customer Experience Certification.'

View original imageDuring the ACI's largest annual event, the General Assembly, attended by about 600 people, President Lee Hak-jae plans to actively request joint labor-management support and participation as the airport director hosting the 'ACI Customer Experience Global Summit' (CEGS) to be held at Incheon Airport in September, together with the chairman of the corporation's labor union.
CEGS is the largest event related to customer experience within the airport industry, held annually since 2019 by ACI to promote service innovation at airports worldwide.
During the General Assembly, President Lee will also attend high-level meetings for strategic cooperation with global airport industry leaders and airport directors. He plans to meet key ACI figures such as Chairman Aimen Al Hosni and Secretary-General Luis Felipe de Oliveira to discuss new cooperation plans related to the development of the aviation industry. Additionally, he will meet with airport directors from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia to discuss new route development and cooperation plans.
President Lee will actively express the necessity of the Busan Expo and the domestic preparation status, requesting interest and support to aid in attracting the event.
