Three Presidents of Sports Organizations in Gwangju Appointed as Advisory Members of the Korea Sports Council
The Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council announced on the 22nd that three presidents of local sports organizations have been appointed as advisory members of the Korea Sports Council's advisory committee.
Kim Yuhong, president of the Life Dance Association, was appointed to the Life Sports Committee, which is responsible for basic policies and matters related to research and investigation for the promotion of life sports.
Additionally, Kim Changseung, president of the Fencing Association, was assigned to the Sports Hero Selection Committee, which is in charge of the basic plan, recommendation, evaluation, and screening of the Sports Hero project.
Furthermore, Park Hyungtaek, former president of the Baduk Association, will serve as a member of the Regional Win-Win Committee, which promotes policy establishment and facilitation plans for mutual growth between sports organizations and local communities.
The committee members will serve as advisory members providing consultation on the operation and projects of the Korea Sports Council for two years, from the date of appointment until the day before the 2025 regular general meeting.
