Hampyeong-gun Accelerates 'Dolmeori Beach Fishing Village New Deal 300 Project'
Completion of seawater pool and mudflat exploration trail in time for July opening
Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, is making smooth progress with an 80% completion rate in the ‘Dolmeori District Fishing Village New Deal 300 Project,’ which is being prioritized.
According to the county on the 19th, the ‘Fishing Village New Deal 300 Project’ is a community-based living SOC project aimed at revitalizing marine tourism and improving the quality of life for fishing village residents through the modernization of fishing villages and ports.
The main projects include ▲expansion of coastal safety facilities ▲Dolmeori Community Center ▲Return-to-Fishing Village (8 buildings) ▲Dolmeori Mill ▲maintenance of seawater pool ▲facility and landscape improvements of Dolmeori and Jupo Ports.
The county plans to improve existing facilities such as the seawater pool and mudflat exploration trail in time for the opening of Dolmeori Beach in July, providing a more pleasant and safe recreational environment.
Additionally, the Dolmeori Marine Healing (Seawater Steam) Center, which uses seawater and sulfur stone to relieve accumulated fatigue through sweating, is scheduled to open alongside the beach.
The seawater steam center will be a two-story building with a total floor area of 1,122㎡, equipped with various spaces for healing and relaxation, including seawater baths, seawater steam rooms, saunas, and a caf?.
