Seodaemun-gu Sinchon to Host 'French Street Music Performance'

With the official start of summer, a music exchange and communication event between Korea and France will be held in Sinchon, Seoul.
Seodaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced that on the 24th from 5 PM to 7 PM, the "French Street Music Performance" will take place at Sinchon Star Square.
In France, since 1982, the "F?te de la Musique" is held annually on the summer solstice, where musicians perform various genres of music for free and interact with the audience. Similar events sharing this spirit are held worldwide, including the upcoming Sinchon performance.
Sponsored by the French Embassy in Korea, the event will feature jazz band The Bliss Korea, singers Chanson J and Jade, and dance and percussion performance team Hwaryeo.
Additionally, popular French singer-songwriter Pi Ja Ma will visit Korea to deliver a special performance. Anyone visiting Sinchon during the performance hours can enjoy the concert free of charge.
