Hampyeong Nareuda Art Troupe Presents Happiness Sharing Cultural Performance
Visiting Local Elderly Care Facilities to Present Folk Songs and Korean Dance
Hampyeong Narda Arts Troupe (Director Park Haengnim) announced on the 16th that they visited the elderly care facility Somangtteul on the 14th to present a 'Happiness Sharing Cultural Performance' for the seniors.
The performance, participated by 12 members of the Narda Arts Troupe, was held with about 30 elderly people who have difficulty enjoying cultural and leisure activities due to dementia, stroke, and other conditions.
On that day, the troupe members showcased various programs such as folk songs, Korean dance, and recreation to uplift the spirits of the elderly.
The Narda Arts Troupe practices talent donation every year by visiting elderly care facilities and day care centers, and actively participates in integrated volunteer activities within the province, leading cultural performance sharing.
Director Park Haengnim stated, “Several more performances are scheduled in the future,” and added, “We will run to wherever the seniors call us and bring them joy.”

Meanwhile, the Hampyeong Narda Arts Troupe was selected for the ‘Blue Talent Excellent Volunteer Group Program Contest’ conducted by the Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center this year, targeting 22 cities and counties, and will receive partial funding for the project.
