Police Arrest Suspect in the Act for Property Damage Charges
Kim Mo, a high school classmate known as the "sponsor" of former Deputy Chief Prosecutor Kim Hyung-jun, was taken into police custody for allegedly spray-painting graffiti at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office building.
On the 14th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested Kim on the spot for property damage and is currently investigating him.
According to the police, Kim is accused of writing words presumed to be "Prosecution" and "Han Dong-hoon" in black spray paint on the wall and floor in front of the west entrance of the Central District Prosecutors' Office building around 6 p.m. that day.
In front of reporters, Kim, seemingly intoxicated, rambled while claiming that "Han Dong-hoon is covering up my case," and then said he would surrender, calling 112 himself.

Kim was prosecuted for providing money and entertainment to former Deputy Chief Prosecutor Kim and was fined 10 million won in 2018.
