The ‘Seasonal Kimchi 5-Set Love Food Sharing Campaign’ involves the Ulju-gun Women’s Association and S-OIL volunteers preparing kimchi varieties such as young radish kimchi and cabbage water kimchi, which are then delivered to elderly living alone and low-income individuals struggling through the hot summer. The volunteer encouragement program aims to boost the morale of outstanding volunteers through events like the Volunteer Grand Festival.
The Food Market support project donates food and daily necessities to food bank markets within Ulju-gun, allowing low-income families to visit convenience store-style markets to select items themselves or receive home delivery for elderly individuals with mobility difficulties.
Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-OIL, who attended the delivery ceremony, said, “We are pleased to support various social contribution activities for neighbors in need in the Ulju-gun area where our workplace is located. S-OIL will continue to cooperate with Ulju-gun to develop and steadily support various volunteer programs tailored to the needs of beneficiaries.”
