Gijang-gun Jeonggwan-eup Operates 'Visiting Mind Plus(+) Welfare Counseling Center'
The Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Gijang-gun, Busan, operated the ‘Visiting Mind Plus(+) Welfare Counseling Center’ at Jeonggwan New Town Humansia Complex 1 on the 7th.
The ‘Visiting Mind Plus(+) Welfare Counseling Center’ is a specialized project of Jeonggwan-eup where related organizations and private committee members visit local residents directly to provide customized welfare and mental health services.
The project aims to proactively identify and support households in crisis through resident needs consultations to resolve potential crises.
Participants in the event included ▲Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center ▲Gijang-gun Mental Health Welfare Center ▲Gijang-gun Senior Welfare Center (Ilgwang Branch) ▲Gijang-gun Disabled Welfare Center ▲Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council members.

An elderly participant in the counseling said, “It was very convenient to receive comprehensive consultations on questions I usually had from various institutional officials.”
