Professional Workforce Training and Joint Research and Development Agreement
Gyeongnam Information University has signed a 'family company' agreement with EcoPro BM, a secondary battery cathode material manufacturer, to collaborate on joint projects.
Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Dae-sik) announced on the 12th that it signed a memorandum of understanding on the 9th at the Haeundae Centum Campus with EcoPro BM (CEOs Joo Jae-hwan and Choi Moon-ho), a specialized secondary battery cathode material production company, for the training of skilled personnel and joint research and development.
The signing ceremony was attended by about 10 officials, including Gyeongnam Information University President Kim Dae-sik, EcoPro BM Executive Director Park Ji-young, and Team Leader Kim Jae-woo.

View original imageThrough this agreement, the two institutions agreed to broadly cooperate in areas such as △ employment linkage for graduates △ support for industry-academia cooperation technology development and transfer △ joint use of equipment △ technical support for on-site difficulties △ support for field visits and practical training, aiming to train specialized personnel in production process management and conduct joint research and development.
President Kim Dae-sik emphasized, “By utilizing the infrastructure possessed by both institutions, we have laid the foundation to nurture talent equipped with both specialized knowledge and practical skills in advanced new industries, especially in the secondary battery sector.”
