KT Participates in European Startup Expo 'Vivatech'
KT announced on the 12th that it will participate in the European startup expo "Viva Technology 2023" (Vivatech), held in Paris, France, from the 14th to the 17th.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups organized a Korean Pavilion themed "K-Startup" at the center of the main venue. KT was responsible for exhibiting ICT export companies located in the Korean Pavilion. To showcase its achievements in entering the European market, KT selected innovative companies covering the entire ICT spectrum, from telecommunications media equipment to artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, completing the export exhibition lineup. Participating companies include seven firms: Innowireless, a cloud-specialized company; NYTUS, a network equipment company; More, an AI platform company; Adriel, an advertising automation platform company; Sunil Telecom, an optical cable parts company; Korea Otron, a manufacturer of optical connectors and splitters; and Marsys, a set-top box company for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). The organizers designated Korea as the "Country of the Year."

Vivatech, which started in 2016, is the largest startup event in Europe, featuring over 8,000 companies including about 1,300 startups from more than 130 countries, and attracting 130,000 visitors.
