FKCCI "Thankful to Young Taeguk Warriors... Receiving Message of Hope and Unity"
The Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) expressed gratitude to the young Taegeuk Warriors who showed fighting spirit in the U-20 World Cup semifinals.
On the 9th, the FKI commented on the U-20 World Cup semifinals, stating, "Regardless of the outcome, this match was a great achievement of reaching the semifinals consecutively," and added, "We believe that through the U-20 World Cup, our young generation delivered a message of hope and unity to the people."

View original imageOn the same day, ahead of the 6 a.m. semifinal match against Italy, the FKI held a street cheering event at Gwanghwamun Square together with the Korea Football Association, Red Devils, Seoul Metropolitan Government (Jongno-gu Office), and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to support the victory of the U-20 World Cup Taegeuk Warriors. From 5 a.m., the event featured viewing of World Cup highlight videos and performances of World Cup cheering songs by singers. Kim Byung-joon, Acting Chairman of the Federation of Korean Industries, and Chung Mong-gyu, Chairman of the Korea Football Association, also participated directly in the street cheering event.
