View original imageOn the afternoon of the 4th (local time), Kim Si-woo received 2.74 points in the weekly men's golf world rankings, jumping 8 spots from 38th place last week. Kim Si-woo earned points by finishing 4th at the PGA Tour's "special match" Memorial Tournament (total prize money $20 million), which concluded that morning at Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72, 7,571 yards) in Dublin, Ohio, USA. This marks his fifth top-10 finish of the season, including his victory at the Sony Open in January.
The top four players?Scottie Scheffler (USA), Jon Rahm (Spain), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Patrick Cantlay (USA)?remained unchanged. Viktor Hovland (Norway), the winner of the Memorial Tournament, rose from 7th to 5th place. Danny McCarthy (USA), who finished runner-up after losing to Hovland in a playoff, also jumped 20 spots from 55th to 35th.
