Artist Moon Seong-hoon showcases traditional instruments such as gayageum and geomungo made primarily from paulownia, rubber, and ginkgo wood, as well as tea culture pieces like tea trays, chairs, teacup holders, and tea containers crafted using traditional instrument-making techniques.
The next exhibition, “Natural Dyeing and Hemp Stories” by artist Lee Ki-jeong, will be held from June 21 to July 9. Exhibitions by artists Yang Chung-nam, Kim Hyun-ho, and Kim Hee-sook are also scheduled.
A Boseong-gun official stated, “We expect this exhibition space sharing project to provide an opportunity for locals and tourists to experience the thousand-year history and culture of Boseong tea through art.”
Meanwhile, since 2021, Boseong-gun has been utilizing the Korea Tea Museum’s special exhibition hall as an exhibition space for local artists, supporting their creative activities. Participating artists receive free rental of the special exhibition hall and 1 million KRW to cover event preparation costs.
