County Governor Ha Seung-cheol Inspects Large Worksites for Summer Disaster and Accident Preparedness
Ha Seung-cheol, the governor of Hadong-gun, Gyeongnam, has begun on-site inspections of large-scale projects with a budget of over 1 billion won to prepare for summer disasters and accidents.
On the first day of the on-site inspection, the 31st, Governor Ha checked 10 locations including the Dugok District Comprehensive Restoration Project in Hadong-eup, the Akyangcheon Disaster Restoration Project, the road widening and paving construction from Gaechi to Midong, the Hwagaecheon Disaster Restoration Project, and the Hwagae District River Disaster Prevention Project.

Governor Ha pointed out risk factors such as poor drainage caused by the recent frequent rains and ordered strict adherence to safety regulations and resolution of residents' inconveniences during construction.

Governor Ha said, "This summer is expected to bring unprecedented heatwaves, prolonged rainy seasons, and heavy rains due to extreme weather changes," adding, "I plan to personally inspect 36 project sites by the 2nd, before the Expo closes."
