Kakao Games' 'Odin' Surpasses 1 Million Pre-Registrations in Japan
Kakao Games announced on the 1st that the blockbuster massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) "Odin: Valhalla Rising" (hereafter referred to as Odin), developed by Lionheart Studio, has surpassed 1 million pre-registrations in Japan.
Odin began its pre-registration in Japan on April 27 and gathered 1 million users in about a month. With this milestone, local users will receive an in-game reward of a "Ninja Avatar Appearance" after the official launch.
Kakao Games is focusing on conveying the charm of Odin to users by holding advance experience events in major cities across Japan. So far, events have been held in Fukuoka, Osaka, Sapporo, and Sendai. Additional events are scheduled for Nagoya and Tokyo on June 3 and June 4, respectively.
