In 2023 KOSAC, a total of 1,323 proposals were submitted from 146 universities nationwide, and 78 outstanding works were selected by a panel of 40 industry experts. The selected teams will compete in regional contests across six areas over two months in May and June.
The two teams from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Kyungsung University, which won the Grand Prize and Excellence Award at the Busan·Gyeongnam regional competition, will participate as representatives of Busan·Gyeongnam in the national finals held on September 7 this year, competing against representatives from other regions.
The theme of the 2023 KOSAC was ‘A Project to Establish a Proper Civic Culture for a World of Living Together,’ proposing a nationwide communication campaign to lead our society in a better direction and create a sustainable world.
Kim Suhyun of the Cycle Club team, which won the Grand Prize, said, “Five university students who shared the same mindset passionately and persistently dedicated themselves to the work, and such a great result followed. I want to say thank you and well done to my team members who fulfilled their roles without complaints.”
