Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will hold the 2023 Parent Lecture titled ‘Happy Seocho Parents with Their Children’ at 11 a.m. on June 13th at the Seocho Culture and Arts Center Art Hall.
The district invited Dr. Oh Eun-young, the ‘National Parenting Mentor,’ to host a session themed ‘Communication, Asking the Child’s Heart’ to address the concerns of parents with children and adolescents and to help facilitate smooth communication with their children.
About 650 Seocho parents will attend a one-hour easy-to-understand and informative lecture on understanding their children’s minds and communicating sincerely.
Along with this, a healing experience for parents tired from daily life has been prepared. Before the lecture starts, from 9:30 a.m. for 80 minutes, various events such as ▲stress measurement ▲smart healing (VR experience) ▲Instagram zone ▲photo zone ▲one-line literary exhibition will add enjoyment.
Participation in the lecture is possible through online advance reservation. Residents wishing to participate can apply via Interpark Ticket starting at 11 a.m. on June 5th, and registration may close on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the number of applicants.
This lecture was organized to commemorate the ‘UNICEF Child-Friendly City Certification’ obtained by the district last December.
The district has made various efforts to create a child-friendly city, including ▲developing and distributing the ‘Seocho-type Child Rights Education Materials’ ▲operating the ‘Future Generation Policy Group,’ where children and caregivers of infants participate in policies together ▲running the nation’s first infant and toddler disability prevention facility ‘Seocho Child Development Center’ and the public indoor playground ‘Seoripul Nori School.’
