Hwasun-gun Conducts Continuous Monitoring of Farms with Frequent Odor Complaints
Following 4 Units in 2022, 2 More Units Installed in 2023
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 23rd that it will operate two additional mobile unmanned odor measuring devices this year, following last year, to enable 24-hour continuous odor measurement and monitoring at farms where odor complaints frequently occur.
With the additional installation of these odor measuring devices, a total of six devices are now installed in Hwasun-gun, including two compost factories and four pig farms, establishing a real-time monitoring system and strengthening inspections.
The unmanned odor measuring devices use complex odor sensors to measure odors in real time. When odor levels exceed the threshold, the system immediately alerts the manager and features an integrated web and app management system via wireless communication, allowing the manager to promptly take measures to reduce odors.
