Gyeongnam Bank and Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Sign ‘1% Miracle, Opening Hope Agreement’

BNK Gyeongnam Bank and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gyeongnam Branch have joined forces to bring hope to the local community and children.
On the 23rd, BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced that it had signed a business agreement with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation titled “1% Miracle, Opening Hope.”

View original imageThe business agreement ceremony held at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank headquarters was attended by Bank President Ye Kyung-tak, Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters Sponsorship Chairman Jeong Young-sik, and Headquarters Director Jeong Eun-hee, among others.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will mutually cooperate to nurture local talent, support children, and promote a culture of donation.
In particular, BNK Gyeongnam Bank will provide additional sponsorship amounting to 10% of the donations received and will promote the project to its PB clients to activate it.
President Ye said, “This business agreement is being pursued with the purpose of spreading a culture of sharing and practicing win-win finance. By providing educational opportunities to children from vulnerable groups in the region, we hope to deliver positive energy and hope to the local community. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to make greater efforts to practice warm finance and ESG management.”

Meanwhile, on the 22nd, BNK Gyeongnam Bank celebrated its 53rd anniversary by awarding a total of 150 million KRW in scholarships to 235 students with excellent academic performance and from vulnerable groups in the region.
