Gokseong-gun, Recruiting Project Operators to Support Youth Community Revitalization
Support Up to 2 Million Won for Youth Organization Activity Expenses
Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that it will recruit candidates for the Youth Community Activation Support Project starting from the 22nd.
Applications will be accepted until June 9th, and a total of 10 groups will be selected.
The "Youth Community Activation Support Project" was established to revitalize youth gatherings within the region and foster a young and vibrant youth culture locally.
Eligible candidates are groups consisting of at least five youths aged between 19 and 49 residing in Gokseong-gun, who can hold regular meetings at least once a month.
Activity expenses of up to 2 million KRW will be supported. Even if the group is not a formally registered corporation or organization, clubs or groups formed by five or more members recruited to participate in this project can apply.
Support areas include social service, talent donation, education, learning, culture, arts, employment and entrepreneurship, and regional exchange. Additionally, activities deemed appropriate based on general sentiment within fields aimed at strengthening youth capabilities are also eligible for support.
The county stated that profit-driven commercial group activities, purely social gatherings for friendship, groups formed for political or religious purposes, and groups aiming for one-time or short-term trips and events are excluded from eligibility.
