Simmin, Imsil County Governor, Accelerates Promotion of Key Projects in the 8th Elected Term

Sim Min, the governor of Imsil County, Jeonbuk, is accelerating the speedy implementation of key projects for the 8th local government term through on-site inspections.

According to the county on the 19th, Governor Sim visited eight major key project sites over two days on the 18th and 19th to prepare for the rapid execution of local finances this year and inspected the progress of the projects.

This on-site inspection focused on checking the progress compared to the planned schedule of major key projects and future plans, and was organized to promote the rapid execution of finances and revitalization of the local economy this year.

On the 18th, starting with the establishment of the Imsil Munyedamteo, a cultural and artistic hub space, he visited sites including the maintenance of aging water supply pipelines in Imsil County to establish a stable supply base for healthy tap water, and the Bonghwang Ecological Park project in the Bonghwangsan area of Imsil-eup, which creates an ecological experience space for residents, a forest playground, and resting areas.

He then toured large-scale project sites such as the enhancement project of the Gwancheon-myeon Youth Training Center to expand comfortable living spaces for youth.

On the same day, he carefully checked the site conditions of the Osu Urban Regeneration Recognition Project, which involves remodeling the county library and creating a cultural enjoyment space for residents, the Osu-myeon Happiness Nuriwon construction project promoted as a living SOC complex project, the Seongsusan Forest Camping Site, the development of forest leisure facility tourist sites, and the Pilbong Pungmul Folk Village creation project.

Governor Sim listened in detail to the current status, plans, and issues of the projects and suggested solutions to problems.

In particular, he encouraged public officials and on-site personnel to enhance project performance and strongly urged the implementation of safety measures.

Governor Sim Min said, “We will vigorously promote key projects at a rapid pace to open the era of ten million tourists in Imsil this year,” and added, “We will do our best to achieve results that the residents can empathize with and feel.”
